My Art Collection

This print was given to us for as a wedding gift. You can probably purchase it for $20 at any shop here in Charleston. But it is, without a doubt, my favorite work of signed art we own (and not to mention my favorite wedding gift. A big thank you to Cecil Easterly. I love the note on the back and will treasure it forever). Grant and I were married during Spoleto of 2008. So this really celebrates that wonderful time. Plus it has all the bright colors I adore!
I picked this up from an antique/junk store in Bell Buckle, TN.  Yes, Bell Buckle. It is a one road town in middle Tennessee.  I could spend all day on that one little road. And if you are ever there, you must visit the Bell Buckle Cafe. Hmmm Hmmm Good!

This one really holds a special place in my heart. It's a screen print created by my dear friend, Anne. She is a graphic designer by trade. But everything she puts her hands on is pure magic. Check her amazing self at

My husband and I purchased this off a street vendor in Rome. He had only proposed to me the night before (Grant - not the street vendor!) and we celebrated at Trevi Fountain. It brings back so many wonderful memories of that trip. Ahhh...to be in love in Italy!!

Ok. So I don't really have an art collection. But, I do have some pretty thangs that hang on my wall. And they are truly works of art to me. I think I will soon post about art I wish I owned!
