If you live in Charleston, I will assume you are already in love with Red Orchid Chinese Bistro. For those of you not fortunate to have this jewel right down the road from you, I am truly sorry. And I promise to tell more in a future blog.
But, this is about wine. Grant and I were lucky enough to receive a Red Orchid gift certificate from two of his top agents. And the owner also included a free bottle of wine.What I didn't know is this wine is not even on the menu. It was phenomenal. I've only had Barolo one other time. But, I will be searching for this bottle often. Thank you, Tony! What a special treat.
